3 arrested on meth charges

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Three Laurel County men were arrested on possession of crystal methamphetamine Thursday after Laurel County sheriff’s deputies served a parole violation warrant on Lake Road.

Jonathan Brumagen, 22, of East Pittsburg Road, London was arrested for absconding parole supervision, failure to report a change of home address to his parole officer and failure to report to his parole officer as directed. Brumagen had been previously convicted in Laurel Circuit Court for theft of controlled substances and first-degree bail jumping.

While serving the parole violation warrant Laurel County Sheriff’s detective Jason Black and detective James Sizemore found two individuals with crystal methamphetamine on their person.

Michael Osborne, 28, of McWhorter St., London was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives reported observing Osborne in the process of shooting up crystal methamphetamine prior to the arrest.

Also arrested was Marcus Ott, 25, of McWhorter Road, London. Ott was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ott was in possession of crystal methamphetamine and allegedly used needle during the time of his arrest.

All three men were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
