KY 1006 in Laurel County to be closed

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —

MANCHESTER, Ky. — KY 1006 in Laurel County will be closed from milepoints 0.75-0.85 (in front of General Dynamics) beginning Thursday, November 7 at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to replace cross drains.

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

Road condition reports for District 11 routes are available by calling 511 or by visiting the 511 travel and traffic information web site at http://511.ky.gov.
