All-Star tournaments start Saturday

It’s All-Star time again, with tournaments kicking off Saturday for the 9-10 year old Minor League boys.

The Minor Boys will be played at Corbin, with North Blue meeting Clay Co. at 2 p.m., followed by South Red-Corbin Red at 4 p.m. and North Green-South White at 6 p.m.

The winner of the North Blue-Clay Co. game will meet Corbin White Sunday at 2 p.m., with the other two winners meeting at 4 p.m. The winner’s bracket final will be June 30 at 8 p.m. The loser’s bracket will start play June 29.

The 11 year old boys will play at North Laurel starting July 1 when Knox Co. meets Middlesboro at 6 p.m., followed by Corbin-Burnside at 8 p.m. On July 2, Hazard plays South London at 6 p.m., followed by North Laurel-Pineville/Bell at 8 p.m. The winner’s meet on July 3 at 6 and 8 p.m., with the winner’s bracket finals July 8 at 6 p.m.

The 12 year old boys will play at South London starting Saturday with South London facing Clay at 4 p.m., and Corbin meeting North Laurel at 6 p.m. The two winners meet June 28 at 4 p.m.

The Junior boys will start July 6 in Hazard with North Laurel facing Corbin at 7 p.m. The winner will meet Hazard July 7 at 7 p.m.

The Senior Boys will take place at North Laurel with North Laurel taking on Corbin at 7 p.m. July 6. They will meet again July 7 at 7 p.m. and July 8 at 7 p.m.

The 9-10 year old Minor girls will start July 6 at Leslie Co. with Corbin meeting South London at 6 p.m., and Harlan-Middlesboro at 8 p.m. On July 7, North Laurel battles Leslie Co. at 6 p.m., with Tri-Cities taking on Clay Co. at 8 p.m.

The winners meet July 8 at 6 and 8 p.m., with the winner’s bracket finals July 11 at 5 p.m.

The Little League girls will do battle at Corbin starting July 6 when North Laurel meets South London at 6 p.m., followed by Corbin-Leslie Co. at 8 p.m.

On July 7, Knox plays Harlan at 6 p.m., and Tri-Cities meets Clay at 8 p.m. The North Laurel-South London winner will meet Middlesboro July 8 at 6 p.m.
