Four from Laurel to compete in softball all-star games

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Four players from Laurel County will be participating in this weekend’s East-West softball all-star games at Ballard High School in Louisville.

South Laurel’s Amber Hyde and North Laurel’s Emily Sears and Sidney Herrell will play for the Senior East All-Stars, while South Laurel’s  Hagan Burns will play on the Junior East All-Stars.

On Saturday, the East Seniors will meet the East Juniors at 9 a.m., followed by West Seniors-West Juniors at 11 a.m., East Juniors vs. West Seniors at 1:30 p.m., and the East Seniors-West Juniors game at 3:30 p.m.

On Sunday, the East Juniors will battle the West Juniors at 11 a.m., followed by the East Senior-West Senior game at 1:30 p.m.
