LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
It wasn’t the draw either team wanted.
South Laurel will face Whitley County in the opening round of the 13th Region volleyball tournament, which starts tonight at Lynn Camp.
The Lady Cards and Lady Colonels will tangle Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
These two teams met twice this season, splitting the games. The Lady Colonels won their district and come into the region sporting the best record in the region at 27-6. South handed Whitley one of its three region losses this season. South, runners up in the 50th District, have a 17-6 record.
