LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
South Laurel’s Taylor Arthur has been named to the girls’ East/West Charity All Star Game, set for Saturday at Warren Central High School.
Proceeds from this game will go to support Coaches vs. Cancer and the KABC Coaches Catastrophic Assist Fund. The KABC also supports Autism Awareness and the Ronald McDonald House, along with the many awards programs to recognize players and coaches, including KABC Coach of the Year, Court of Honor, Lifetime Media Achievement Award and Century Club.
Arthur will play for the East All Stars, which are comprised of Regions 9 through 16. The West All Stars are made up of players from Regions 1 through 8.
Hancock County’s Michael Orr will coach the West, along with Frank Wright from Ballard, while Sara Bridenbaugh of Dunbar coaches the East, along with Bath County’s Troy Thomas.
Each region will be represented by two players, as Clay County’s Cheyenne Madden was also named to the East All Stars.
