Michael Edward “Sparky” Adams, 57, of Lovell Court, Lexington, Ky., died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Saint Joseph-London.
The son of the late Orville Burdine and Geneva Adams, he was born Oct. 22, 1950 in Pulaski County, Ky. He was a member of Chimney Rock Baptist Church and a heavy equipment operator by profession.
He is survived by Bernice Adams and his daughter Ashley Michelle Adams, both of Lexington; his brothers Lewis Gene Trivett and wife Roseanne, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Ron LaFary and wife Joy, of London; his sisters Bonnie Lou Walker, of Mount Vernon, Ky., Nellie Sue Cope and husband Clay, of Indianapolis, and Cathy Jo Stogsdill and husband Jim, of London; and sister-in-law Debbie Judd, of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 11, at Bowling Funeral Home’s chapel, with Douglas Tankersley officiating. Burial followed at Chimney Rock Cemetery in Squib, Ky.
