Retired, Cincinnati Thermal Spray
Edward Lewis Klein, 66, of Cloyd Drive, London, Ky., died Monday, May 5, 2008, at home with his family. Born July 27, 1941, in Pulaski, Co. Ky., he is survived by his wife, Louise Bowling Klein of London, daughter, Stephanie Rice and husband Greg, of Springboro, Ohio, son, Jeffery Klein and wife Chris, of Atlanta, Ga., and two grandchildren, Pierson and Paxton Klein of Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sara and James Everett Mounce. He was an employee of Dayton Press in Dayton, Ohio for 15 years and retired from Cincinnati Thermal Spray in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the Bowling Funeral Home’s chapel, with Brother Todd Parker, Jeffery Klein and Rev. Fountaine Jones officiating. Private committal services will be Thursday in the Greenmount Cemetery at Greenmount, Ky., with Joe Fouts, Carl Gilbert, Jim Phillips, Keith Bowling, Blaine Bowling and Phillip Ellis serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is scheduled after 5 p.m. Wednesday at Bowling Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Long Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Youth Activities, c/o Dennis Gay, Treasurer, 4217 Old Whitley Rd., London, KY 40744.
