James Ernest Goforth

James Ernest Goforth, 35, Oneal Road, London, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009.

A Laurel County native, he was born Dec. 14, 1973, the son of Peggy Proffitt Goforth and James Goforth, both of London. He was a heating and air conditioning technician, and affiliated with Pleasant Valley Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his parents; a sister and brother, Christy Goforth and Preston Goforth, both of London; and two nephews, Justin and Jerad Goforth, both of London.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Marie Goforth, and Wilma Bolton and Ernest Goforth.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at the Pleasant Valley Pentecostal Church with Troy Robinson and Steve Mullins officiating.

Burial followed in Pine Creek Cemetery in Laurel County.

Pallbearers were Preston Goforth, Chad Creech, Billy North, Rob Campbell, Donald Dixon and Denver Lee.

London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
