Leota May Huff

Former Sue Bennett College assistant librarian

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Leota May Huff, 85, Taylor Drive, London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29. 2012, at Hillcrest Health and Rehab Center in Corbin.

Born Feb. 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ellen Nelson Sandberg. She was an assistant librarian at Sue Bennett College for more than 20 years and a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William F. Huff.

She was the mother of Deborah Yaden and Diana Mounce of London, Dolores Roe of Hendersville, Tenn., and Donna Lewis of Wilder, Ky., and the grandmother of Evan Yaden, Erin Yaden, Nathan Lewis and Camille Worley.

Memorial services for Leota May Huff were conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the Rev. Wade Arp officiating.

 Burial will be at a later date in Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery in Burdick, Kan.

The family received friends on Sunday from 6 p.m. until the memorial hour of 8 p.m.

The family respectfully requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 301 W. 5th St., London, Ky., 40741.
