Clara Ann McKnight

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Clara Ann McKnight, 71, of London, Ky., passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, at U.K. Healthcare – Lexington, Ky.

She is survived by four children, Michael McKnight, Gary McKnight, Robert McKnight and wife, Leslie, all of London, and Amy Wallace and husband, Jamie of Indiana; two sisters, Hilda Brock and husband, Miley of London, Ky., and Judy Hibbitts of Frankfort, Ky.; one brother, Bob Fiechter of London; three grandchildren, Dale Wallace, Austin Wallace, and Carol Ann Wallace.  She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman McKnight; and her parents, Robert Fiechter and Mary Louise Bowles Fiechter.

She was a cook with the Laurel County Board of Education and member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Clara Ann McKnight will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Tim McKnight officiating. Burial will follow at Old Salem Cemetery in Laurel County.

The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at the funeral home.
