David Tincher


David Tincher, 90, of London, Ky., passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Baptist Health-Lexington. 

He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Carrie Sparks Tincher; seven children, Delores Lewis of East Bernstadt, Eddie Tincher, Darlene Jent, Marlene Stacy, Lisa Russell, Danny Ray Tincher, David Tincher Jr., all of London, Kentucky; a sister, Clearsie Rose of Berea; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Able Tincher and Callie Holcomb Tincher; two children, Judy Lewis and Carlos James Tincher; 10 sisters and brothers; and one grandson. 

Funeral services for David Tincher will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, Dec. 16 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the Rev. James Allen officiating. 

Burial will follow at Seven Pines Cemetery in Jackson County. 

The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
