LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Maudie Stidham Daniels, 72, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013.
She was born Sept. 1, 1941 in Perry County, Ky., the daughter of James and Sally Ann Williams Stidham, who preceded her in death.
She was a former employee of Walmart, and was a member of the Campground Pentecostal Church.
She was united in marriage to Dock Daniels, who survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Edgar and James Daniels; two daughters, Ellen Nunley and husband, Danny, and Bobbie Frazier and husband Doyle, all of London; two step-children, Steven Daniels and wife, Wilma, of Panama City, Fla., and Merlyn Collins of New Mark, Va.; one brother, Pearl Stidham and wife, Alene, of Hazard, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Junie Stidham of Blackie, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Wilma Combs; and two siblings, William Stidham and Mary Everage.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 24 at noon at Bowling Funeral Home with Jerry Laudermilk, Sammy Trosper, and Dale Campbell officiating.
Burial followed in the Daniels-Frazier Cemetery in London.
Visitation was held Monday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
