James Gordon Frank

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — James Gordon Frank, 63, Littontown Road, East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

Born Nov. 12, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Homer E. Frank and Edna Reed Frank Moore of East Bernstadt.

He was a retired civil service employee, a US Army veteran and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother; his wife Betty Hodges Frank, East Bernstadt; two children, Jamie N. Hess of East Bernstadt, and James G. (Ashley) Frank II of Moyock, N.C.; two siblings, David R. (Linda) Frank of Milford, Ohio, and Jeannie Loechtenfeldt of Clarkston, Mich,; three grandchildren, Kylie Hess, Emily Frank, and Brileigh Frank.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral hour Saturday, Jan. 11 in the chapel of London Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Ball officiating.

Burial followed at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park, London.

Pallbearers were Johnny Miller, Gary Frank, Brian Hodges, Buck Hodges, Buckie Hubbard and Charlie Mitchell.
