LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Willetta Gentry House, 89, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her residence.
Born April 6, 1924, in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Dewey and Ethel Crawford Gentry. She was united in marriage to Glenn House, who preceded her in death.
She was a co-owner of Dog Patch Trading Post and a member of East Bernstadt First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Glenn Williams of London; two sisters, Chris Fugate of London and Pauline Youngker, of Ohio; two brothers, Joe Gentry of London and Jack Gentry of Texas; three grandchildren, Savannah, Jade and Montana Williams; plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas Carlisle House and one brother, Ted Gentry.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 20 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cloyd Cemetery at London.
The family will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Joe Gentry, Jeff Gentry, David Terhune, Bobby Jones, and Trey and Bart Bledsoe.
