LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — David Tincher, 90, of London, Ky., passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Baptist Health-Lexington.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Carrie Sparks Tincher; seven children, Delores Lewis of East Bernstadt, Eddie Tincher, Darlene Jent, Marlene Hoskins, Lisa Russell, Danny Ray Tincher, David Tincher Jr., all of London, Ky.; one sister, Clearsie Rose of Berea, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Able Tincher and Callie Holcomb Tincher; two children, Judy Lewis, Carlos James Tincher; 10 sisters and brothers; and one grandson.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev. James Allen officiating.
Burial followed at Seven Pines Cemetery in Jackson County.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
