Carol Jean Anderson

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Carol Jean Anderson, 70, of Daytona Beach, Fla., formerly of Laurel County, Ky., passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Florida.

Born Oct. 29, 1942 in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ora Durham Anderson.

She was a graduate of Hazel Green High School and was a bank teller at Cumberland Valley National Bank for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Deborah Faye Anderson.

She is survived by two sons,  R. Michael (Annetta) Parrigan and Mark (Sandra) Parrigan, all of London; two brothers,  George  (Gretchen) Anderson, of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Robert (Sherri) Anderson, of London; a sister,  Linda (Jack) Spitser, of London; two grandchildren, Josh and Peyton Parrigan; and a special friend, Rhonda House, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.

The family of Carol Jean Anderson will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home from 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 until the memorial service hour of 7 p.m. with Freddie Harris officiating.

Burial will be in Rough Creek Cemetery, Laurel County.

Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Fla., 32129, or the charity of your choice.
