LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Jerry Thomas Hammon, 66, London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 18, 1947, in Laurel County, Ky., the son of the late Jim and Eva Williamson Hammons.
He was united in marriage to Darlene Nicholson Hammons, who survives.
He was a member of Community Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife; his daughter, Leann Clark and husband, Chris, of London; two brothers, Chester Hammons and wife, Natalyn, and Ray Hammons and wife, Helen, all of London; one grandchild, Eva Caroline Clark; plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Greer and Evelyn Stanbury; and three brothers, Glen, Virgil and Harold Hammons.
Funeral services for Jerry Thomas Hammons were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Short officiating.
Burial followed in A. R. Dyche Memorial Park.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
