Patricia Lee Schmidt Collins

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Patricia Lee Schmidt Collins, 64, of London, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at her residence.

Born on May 14, 1948 in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Schmidt and Mary Pauline Smith.  She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Paul Schmidt.

She is survived by her husband, Denzil Collins of London; her daughter, Stacy Lee Nickle of Louisville; her son, Daniel Aaron Collins of Richmond; and three grandchildren, Larkin Nickle, Piper Collins, and Dylan Collins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 30 at 6 p.m. at Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Harlan Avera and Jamie Maxey officiating.

Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville.

Visitation was held at the funeral home Saturday from 5 p.m. until the funeral hour.
