LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Imogene Hensley Elza, 93, of London, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at her residence.
She worked at Laurel County PVA Office for 15 years and was a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Leslie Elza; her parents, Harvey George Hensley and Ollie Mae Patton Hensley; two sisters, Christeen Hensley and Janet Barnett; and two brothers, Emil and Clark Hensley.
She is survived by three children, Patricia, Stanley (Ellen), and Boyce (Tammy) Elza, all of London, Ky.; six grandchildren, Eric, Joey, Josh, Denice, Jamie and Lindsey Elza; three great-grandchildren, Joseph Christian Lane Elza, Shealee Raine Elza and Gabriel James Robinson; six sisters, Alene Holcomb of Camden, Ohio, Janie Guinn of Knoxville, Tenn., Betty Jo Reed, Judy Caudill, all of London, Ky. and Joyce Oviedo of Avondale, Ariz., Barbara Spence of Greencastle, Ind.; and one brother, Ted Hensley of London, Ky.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday, April 3, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Christian Church in East Bernstadt with Andrew Dyer officiating.
Burial will follow at Gill-Swanner-Elza Cemetery in London.
Pallbearers are Josh Elza, Craig Sutton, Ronnie Patton, Marshall Rush, Alex Clark, and Boyce Elza.
Visitation was held after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
