Raymond Hensley

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Raymond Hensley, 82, of London, Ky., passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. 

He leaves behind six children, Marsha Howard and husband Jerry of East Bernstadt, Ricky Hensley and Vicky Renaee Warren, both of London, Tim Hensley and wife Vicky, Shaye North and husband Jeff, Shane Hensley and wife Carmel, all of East Bernstadt; 11 grandchildren, Chris Howard and wife Brittney, Tori Holt and husband Aaron, Kayla Jackson and husband Robert, Jordan Warren and wife Brooke, Trent Hensley and wife Amber, Haley Hensley, Hillary North, Hunter North, Meredith Hensley, Brady Hensley and Rozlyn Hensley; five great-grandchildren, Kaydence Howard, Eli Holt, Carleigh Jackson, Taegan Hensley and Connor Hensley, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Williams Hensley; parents, Brady Hensley and Maude Cromer Hensley; two sisters, Lois Collins and June Hyatt; and a brother, Paul Hensley. 

Funeral services for Raymond Hensley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at Carmichael Community Church with Rev. Jeff Lewis and the Rev. Bruce Cole officiating. 

Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park.

The family of Raymond Hensley will receive friends after 6 p.m. today, Oct. 2 at Carmichael Community Church. 

House-Rawlings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
