Audie Sue Gilliam Peters

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Audie Sue Gilliam Peters, 69, Terrell’s Creek Road, London, Ky., passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Ky.

Born Jan. 2, 1943 in Jackson County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Clyde Gilliam and Ruby McGhee Baker. She was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Peters, London; daughter, Suzanne (Dewayne) Brock, London; two sisters, Louise (John) Smith, and Nina (Sonny) Osborne, both of London; two brothers, Russell Gilliam, London, and Don Patrick Gilliam, Lily; and a granddaughter, Brittany Lynn Brock, London.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 in the chapel of London Funeral Home with Jerry Holland officiating.

Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Manchester, Ky.

Pallbearers were Danny Muncy, Daniel Muncy, Mike Riley, John Smith, Sonny Osborne, Jeff Gibson and Jamie Hibbard.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
