LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
William Wade Slusher, 71, East Fifth Street, London, Ky., passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at his residence.
Born May 20, 1940 in Pineville, Ky., he was the son of the late William Madison Slusher and Flossie Sharp Slusher, London. He was a self-employed electrical inspector, served his country in the United States Airforce and was a member of First Baptist Church of London.
Mr. Slusher is survived by his mother; his wife, Susan Congleton Slusher, East Fifth Street, London; children, William “Bill” Wallace (Joy) Slusher, London, and Raymond “Alan” (Eva) Slusher, Frankfort, Ky.; stepchildren, Christopher C. (Melissa) Bacon, Lexington, and William R. (Jennifer) Bacon, Mercer County, Ky.; brother, Dr. M. Madison (Sally) Slusher; grandchildren, Kelsey Slusher, Kaley Slusher and Savannah Slusher; step-grandchildren, Sara Crouch, Clint Bacon, Christian Bacon, Ruben Bacon and Lucy Bacon; and his special nieces, Leslea (Don) Schaeffer, Sara (Rupert) Patrick, and Katy (Phillip) Brown.
Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dann Masden and Dr. Terry Lester officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at the Pineville Cemetery.
