LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Troy Lee Roark, 62, Joel Lane, London, Ky., passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Jellico, Tenn.
A native of Laurel County, he was born Feb. 21, 1949, the son of the late Floyd and Rachel Roark. He was a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Erma Jean Smith Roark; a sister, Durlie Louise Roark; and a brother, Ellis Roark.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicky Roark, Culleoka Tenn.; two stepdaughters, Phyllis Beck, Harriman, Tenn., and Lesa Bailey, London; four stepsons, Melvin Lockaby and Darrell Lockaby, both of Williamsburg, Ky., Clayton Lockaby, London, and Russell Lockaby, Woodbine, Ky.; four brothers, Adam Roark, London, Kenneth Roark and Amos Roark, both of Carpio, N.D., and Aaron Roark, Corbin, Ky.; three sisters, Janet Stidham, London, Ella Mae Pence, Rockholds, Ky., and Juawana Roark, Corbin; one granddaughter, Amber Alexander; six stepgrandchildren; and one great-granddaughter, Kaymin Stofel.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Feb. 17 at London Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Cloud and Danny Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Corbin, Ky.
Pallbearers will be Michael Lockaby, Daniel Roark, Jason Roark, John Alexander, Nathan Feltner and Charles Martin.
Visitation was after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
