LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Estill Robinson, 92, London, Ky., passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at his residence.
Born Aug. 1, 1918 in Clay County, Ky., he was the son of the late William and Florence Robinson. He was a farmer, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sarah Katherine Harris Robinson, three sons, Marion Dale Robinson, Marvin Robinson and Howard Robinson; a son-in-law, Jim Howard, and siblings, Luther, William Jr. and Herman Robinson, Eliza Russell, Martha Murray and Beatrice Robinson.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Smith and husband, William, and Lorene Howard, both of London; two sons, William Robinson and wife, Sandra, London, and Martin Robinson and wife, Lane, Corbin; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Nov. 20, at Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Phillips and Steve House officiating.
Burial followed in Robinson Family Cemetery, Laurel County.
Military honors were obsered by the local DAV.
In honor of Mr. Robinson the family suggest memorials be made to Tri-County Hospice.
