Charles E. Patton

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Charles E. Patton, 72, of Fort Wayne, Ind,; peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 18, 2013, surrounded by his family.

Born at home in East Bernstadt, Ky., he was a son of the late Charles E. and Lillie (Rader) Patton. He proudly served his country in the Air Force, was a member of American Legion Post No. 241, Waynedale, and was a member of The Chapel.

He is survived by his children, Deanna (William) Hill, of Fort Wayne, Ind., Timothy E. Patton, of Yulee, Fla., Lisa Patton, of Fort Wayne, Ind., James (Gloria) Grosso, of Denver, Colo., Patricia Adams, and Randall (Pam) Patton, both of London; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Friday, March 22, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral hour and was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurday.

Burial with military honors will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Waynedale, Ind.
