LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Ethel Sizemore Begley, 84, Swafford Drive, London, Ky., formerly of Hyden, Ky., passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Saint Joseph-London.
She was born July 31, 1927 in Perry County, Ky., and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mollie Gibson Sizemore. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnold Begley; a daughter, Alene Bowling; a son, Eugene Jones; and two brothers, Ed Sizemore and Sam Sizemore.
Survivors include four daughters, Sylvania Eldridge, Hyden, Ky., Phyllis Owens and Zetta Bowling, both of Manchester, Ky., and Jessie Marie Caudill, Breman, Ky.; two sons, Larry Jones and Chester Jones, both of Crofton, Ky.; two brothers, Duane Sizemore and Chester Sizemore, both of London; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22 in the chapel of London Funeral Home with Bobby Wayne Couch and Robert Sizemore officiating.
Burial followed in Sizemore Cemetery, Leslie County.
Pallbearers were Johnny Ray Howard, Terry Jones, Larry Owens, Zachary Gray, Jeff Bowling and Jerry Sizemore.
Visitation was after 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at the funeral home.
