‘Bugsy’ Hiram Buttery Jr.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — ‘Bugsy’ Hiram Buttery Jr., 66, London, Ky., passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

Born April 26, 1947 in Clay County, Ky., he was the son of the late Hiram and Bernice Powell Buttery.

He was a retired farmer and affiliated with the Fogertown Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Jason Buttery of London, and Billy Buttery of Manchester, Ky.; two brothers, Darrell Buttery of East Bernstadt, and Delbert Buttery of Louisville; a sister, Bonnie Robinson of London; eight grandchildren, Martin Jack Hiram Buttery, Billy Austin Buttery, Jathen Buttery, Bernice Renee Buttery, Allison Buttery, Lora Beth Buttery, Justin Lee Jackson and Sonya Renee Jackson, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Friday, July 5 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Cecil Benge, Johnny Bench, Travis Fields and Eddie Owens officiating.

Burial will follow in Cornett Cemetery, Manchester, Ky.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
