George Dugger

Retired mechanic for London Motors Garage

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — George Dugger, 76, the husband of Betty Karr Dugger of Rough Creek Road, London, Ky., passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at his residence.

He was a retired mechanic at London Motors Garage where he worked for 35 years, and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses and Venus Grubb Dugger; a brother, Billy Sinkhorn; and a sister, Faye Beavers.

He was the father of Joyce Carol Howard, Keavy, George Darrell Dugger and James Allen Dugger, both of Corbin, Phillip Ray Dugger, Nancy Kay Gregory and Rebecca (Becky) Ann Woods, all of London.

Mr. Dugger is  also survived by 16 grandchidlren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; plus a host of friends and relatives to mourn his passing.

Visitation was from noon Friday, May 18 until the 2 p.m. funeral hour in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Brother Russell Woods and Brother Foister Woods officiating.

Burial followed in the Hyde Cemetery, Fariston, Ky.

Pallbearers were Michael Dugger, Joseph Dugger, Darrell Dugger, George Otis, Ray Dugger, Chris Woods and Rodney Adams.
