Mossie Lee Witt

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Mossie Lee Witt, 88, London, Ky., passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Hillcrest Health & Rehabilitation Center, Corbin, Ky.

She was the mother of Carol Jean Baker and husband, Gerald, Tim Witt and wife, Barbara, and Debbie Patton and husband, Steve, all of London; sister of Hubert Roark, also of London. She also leaves behind six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Witt; her parents, William Roark and Stella Campbell Roark; a sister, Geraldean Williams; a brother, Glen Roark; and a granddaughter, LaDana Durham. 

Funeral services for Mossie Lee Witt will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 14 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Larry Paul Roark officiating. 

Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy.

The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the funeral home.
