Edsel Blair


Edsel Blair, 74, of London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at his residence. 

He was retired from Southern Belle Dairy and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Spivey Blair; three children, Buddy Blair and wife Vicki, Tamra Blair, Barry Blair and wife Robin; one brother, Edward Blair; nine grandchildren, Nik, Alex, Gabe, Shawn, Cameron, Blair, Cassie, Cody, and MaKayla; five great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Waylon, Fisher, Hagen, and Ella. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Blair and Marie Allen Blair; and a sister, Geraldine. 

The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. today, July 19 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home. 

Funeral services for Edsel Blair will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Harlan Avera and David Mitchell officiating.  

Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
