Doris Jean Ison

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Doris Jean Ison, 55, of London, Ky., died Saturday,  Dec. 1, 2012, at her residence. 

Born on June 29, 1957, in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of Arville Kilburn of London and the late Juanita Maggard Kilburn.

She was a homemaker and a member of Green Acres Church of Christ.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by abrother, Donald Kilburn.

Survivors include her father; her husband, Chester Ison, of London; two children, Olivia  (Terry) Adams and Wesley (Jackie) Ison,  all of London; a sister, Jean  (Bob) Fyffe of London; a brother, Ronald (Glenna) Kilburn of East Bernstadt. 

Funeral services conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Scott and Marcus Reppert officiating. 

Burial followed in the Ison Family Cemetery, London. 

Pallbearers were Bruce Williams, Jeff Maggard, Roger Dehart, Tracy Tomes, Mike Maggard, Danny Kilburn, Gerald Lewis, Jeremy Williams, Daniel Ison and Elmer Ison, Jr.
