LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Albert Dennis Stillings, 74, West Laurel Road, London, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born May 10, 1938 in Manchester, Ky., he was the son of the late Sam and Edith Stillings. He was a retired military veteran having served in the Army during both the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was also a member of Horse Creek Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Linda Bergeron.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Reid Stillings, West Laurel Road, London; two daughters, Donna Napier and Patty Ruggles, both of London; a son, T.J. Stillings of Waynesville, Ga.; two brothers, Tony Stillings of Tennessee, and Robert Stillings of Indiana; two sisters, Elizabeth Hensley and Anna Pearl Stillings, both of Harlan, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, Preston Napier, Nicholas Napier, Travis Stillings, April Houston, Elizabeth Bagley, Chris Stillings, William Ruggles, Patricia Goff, Ashley Goff, Kim Maldinado, Eugene Goff and Melissa Roberts; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Dec. 7, in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Helton, Jeff Lewis, and Bob Combs officiating.
Burial will follow in Herd Cemetery in Manchester,, Ky.
Pallbearers will be Preston Napier, Nicholas Napier, Bobby Ruggles, Allan Peerce, Jamie Roberts and Chris Stillings.
Honorary pallbeaers will be T.J. Stillings and Gary Napier.
Military honors will be by the local DAV.
The family received friends at London Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Thursday.
