LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Beverly Diane Goodin, 51, of London, went to be with Jesus, on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.
Born on Aug. 24, 1961, in Whitley County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Ross and Retha Claxton Goodin. She was a former waitress at the Ideal Restaurant and was affiliated with Piney Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by two brothers, David Ross Goodin Sr. and James Edward Goodin.
Survivors include one daughter, Christie Lea (John) Keltner of Corbin; four grandchildren, Jordan, Trent, Hunter and Drew Keltner of Corbin; one sister, Lisa Renee Goodin of Corbin; niece, Shannin Jenkins of Corbin; nephews, Sammie Davis of Corbin and David Ross Goodin Jr. of Barbourville; great nieces and nephew, Savanna, Bree and Scotty; her loving companion, James “Bo” Maxey of London and his children and grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Philip Claxton and Greg Farmer officiating.
Burial followed in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation was held at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Jordan, Hunter and Drew Keltner, Sammie Davis, Brandon Jenkins, Tommy Walker, Donnie Hale and Dylan Rose.
Honorary pallbearer was Trent Keltner.
