William Joseph Rickelman

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — William Joseph “Wild Bill” Rickelman, 57, East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Saint Joseph London.

Born July 4, 1956 in Jasper, Ind., he was the son of the late Robert and Rosalee Kapp Rickelman.

He was a carpenter and of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Fields) Rickelman of East Bernstadt; three children, Amanda Thewes and William Rickelman, both of Huntingburg, Ind., and Andrea Rickelman of Celestine, Ind.;  two  step-children, Angela Miller of Louisville, Ky., and Eric Miller of London; two brothers, John Rickelman and wife Phyllis of St. Anthony, Ind., and Patrick Rickelman and wife Kalyn of Rowanaok Rapids, N.C. He was also blessed with five grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The family of William Joseph “Wild Bill” Rickelman received friends at London Funeral Home Monday, Feb. 10 from 2 until 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense.
