LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Barbara Jean Pruitt Cappon, 55, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset.
Born July 24, 1956, in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late James Murphy Pruitt and Ruth Bustle Pruitt.
She was a former Kingsford Computer representative and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley B. Cappon of Somerset; sister, Michele Bruner and husband, Jerome, of London; brother, Dennis Pruitt and wife, Brenda, of East Bernstadt; stepchildren, Susan B. Hislope and husband, Douglas L., and Karen J. Mize and husband, Marty, all of Somerset; three stepgrandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside services and burial was at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the Bustle Cemetery in Rockcastle County with Clyde Eversole officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association.
Bowling Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
