Wilma Irene Keller

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Wilma Irene Keller, 82, London, Ky., passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at Saint Joseph London,

A native of Laurel County, she was born Feb. 10, 1930, the daughter of the late Daniel and Ida Overbey McQueen.

She was a retired employee of Parks Belk Company and National Cash Register and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

She was united in marriage to Jesse Keller who survives. She is also survived by one son, David  (Dawn) Keller of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Debbie (Bert) Martin and Sandra Barton, both of London; a sister, Thelma Stout of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters-in-law, Viola McQueen of Barbourville, and Wanda Wilson of Gray, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, Shawn (Melanie) Barton, Shelli (Jason) Brown, Tessa Barton, Rebecca Brannon, Danielle (Brandon) Lowell, Glen Keller, Kendra Keller and Kyle Keller, Todd (Jewell) Martin, Tracy (Matt) Kerley, Justin (Kelsey) Martin and Brett (Lindsey) Martin; eight great-grandchildren, Kelsey House, Emma Barton, Megan Brown, Emerson Lowell, Bailey, Andrew and Bella Martin and Tycho Kerley; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Willard McQueen.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Dyer officiating.

Burial followed in Swiss Colony Cemetery, London.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25 at the funeral home.
