Darrin Keith Hale

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Darrin Keith Hale, 47, Lexington, Ky., formerly of Laurel County, Ky., passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Saint Joseph London.

Born June 19, 1966 in Corbin, Ky., he was the son of Donna (Swinford) Hale of London and the late Tilmon Douglas Hale.

He was a chief draftsman for Gate Precast and a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, Tilmon and Ruby Brown Hale, and Frank Swinford.

He is survived by his mother; a sister, Deirdre Mays and husband, Denver, London; a nephew, Devin Douglas Mays, London; and his grandmother, Elwanda Brown Swinford, Winchester, Tenn.

The family of Darrin Keith Hale received friends at London Funeral Home on Sunday, July 7 from 12 noon until the 3 p.m. funeral service hour with Brother David Thomas and Brother Jamie Maxey officiating.

Burial followed in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Blackwater, Ky.

Pallbearers were O’Dail Lawson, Paul Douglas Cheek, Greg Cheek, Chris Roberts, Jason Lingo, David Lingo, Nick Lingo and Jim Peregrin.

Honorary pallbearers were his Sunday School class.

 In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 8642 East Laurel Road London, Ky., 40741 or Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, 2009 East Laurel Road London, Ky., 40741.
