LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Donald Keith Cox, 64, Shadowbrook Drive, London, Ky., passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Saint Joseph London.
A native of Laurel County, he was born Jan. 20, 1949, the son of the late Randoth “Jim” Cox and Mary Louise Quimby Cox of London. He was a steel worker, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Parkway Praise Center, London.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Phillip Cox.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Mullins Cox, London; a son, Donald Cox and wife, Amanda, London; three daughters, Monica Cox McFadden and husband, Bill, Amanda Cox Patterson and husband, John, and Chrystal Cox Wynn and husband, Tommy all of London; two brothers, Melvin Cox and Marvin Cox and a sister, Phyllis Yaden all of London. He was also blessed with seven grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Donald Keith Cox were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 in the chapel of London Funeral Home with Pastor Marshall Rainey officiating.
Burial followed in Locust Grove Cemetery with the local DAV in charge of military honors.
Pallbearers were Joel McQueen, Jody Cotton, Lonnie Henson, Brian Cox, Ken Mayne, Bronson Neace and Donald M. Cox.
The family received friends at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5.
