Robert C. Watts

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Robert C. Watts, 88, of London, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Watts; and six brothers, John Watts, William Watts, Otis Watts, Bethel Watts, Darrell Watts, and J.P. Watts.  

He is survived by five children, Betty Jean Clay, Jerry Watts, Sandra Kay Singleton, Bobby Dwayne Watts, all of London, and Sieglinde Daffner of Schwalbenneg, Germany; three sisters, Lena Morgan and Sally Caudill, both of Hazard, Ky., and Dora Ward of Virginia; and one brother, Randolph Watts of Hamilton, Ohio.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.  

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Brother Fred Cummings and Brother David Walters officiating.  

Burial followed at Rough Creek Cemetery in Laurel County.

The family of Robert C. Watts received friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m.
