LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Sharon B. Rarrieck, 65, Woodbine, Ky., passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at her residence.
Born Jan. 31, 1948 in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Minnie Burkhart.
She formerly worked as an aide at Marymount Hospital and was a member of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church in Barbourville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Rarrieck Sr. on Oct. 16, 2009; and a son, Christopher Rarrieck on Oct. 25, 2003.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Tonia) Rarrieck and Brian (Renee) Rarrieck, both of London; a stepson, George E. “Eddie” (Teresa) Rarrieck Jr., of Falmouth, Ky.; nine grandchildren, Kyle Rarrieck, Jimmy Rarrieck Jr., Matthew Rarrieck, Brian Urban, Corey Adams, Levi Rarrieck, Heather Cordray, Kylie Rarrieck and Haley Rarrieck; three great-grandchildren, Connor Urban, Jacob Cordray and Mason Cordray; one sister, Beverly Lewis of London; and a host of nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Pastor C. Anthony Carter officiating.
Burial followed at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London,.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
