LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Billy Gene Brown, 67, of London, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at his residence.
Born Aug. 11, 1945, in Laurel County, he was the son of the late Homer Brown and Nannie Proffitt Brown of London, who survives.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Linda Brown Lay.
He was a retired metal finisher for General Motors and affiliated with Old Union Holiness Church.
He is survived by his mother; his wife, Janet Rudder Brown of London; three sons, Jeffery Brown of Indianapolis, Ind., Jeremy Brown of Tennessee, and Junior Gambill Brown of London; a sister, Emmalene (Willie) Bowling of Bremen, Ind.; a brother, Jack (Geraldine) Brown of London; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by 1 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 2 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Helton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Laurel County.
Pallbearers will be Jason, Paul, Jeffery and Jeremy Brown, Jimmy Howard, Janie Bowling, Shawn and Mike Davis.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Douglas Brown II.
