Ida Beatrice Hazel (Jones) Dees

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Ida Beatrice Hazel (Jones) Dees, 86, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was the beloved mother of James Elwood Dees, and William Roger (Barbara) Dees; loving grandmother of Erick, Tara, Maria, Lara, Lori  and Kyle; and dear great-grandmother of Lucas and Ellison; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Dees; her parents, Cy and Blanchi Jones; a sister, Violica Mason; and three brothers, Sparks, Thank and Gilbert Jones.

Visitation was Thursday, April 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Schmidt-Dhonau-Kucner Funeral Home in Sharonville, Ohio.

Graveside services were at Liberty Cemetery in Laurel County at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.

Local arrangements were by House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
