Chad Aaron Purvis

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Chad Aaron Purvis, 34, East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013.

Born Jan. 24, 1979 in Kokomo, Ind., he was the son of Dennis and Karen Sue Hood Purvis of East Bernstadt, Ky.

He was an employee of ACS, a member of the American Legion and Carmichael Community Church.

Survivors include his parents; his wife, Ashley Nicole Reynolds Purvis; two sons, Tyler Austin and Derik Alexander Purvis, both of East Bernstadt; and a brother, Kevin Andrew Purvis and wife, Crystal of Kokomo, Ind.

Funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Jeff Lewis officiating.

Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery, East Bernstadt.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
