LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Suzan Whitaker, 53, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, as the results of an automobile accident on west Ky. 80, in London, Ky.
She was the office manager and a long-time employee of C & C Communication in London, and was a member of West Corbin Christian Church
She was the wife of Greg Whitaker, Somerset; daughter of Dennis Patterson and wife, Linda, and Sharlene Poynter and husband, Ray, all of Corbin; mother of Travis Whitaker and wife, Jessica of London; sister of Dennis Patterson and wife, Phyllis of Lily, Michelle Hale and husband, Bill of Parker’s Lake, Ky., Cindy Shaffer and husband, James of Bristol, Tenn., Daniel Patterson and wife, Angel of Barbourville, Ky.; and stepsister of Ryan Sears of Louisville, Ky., Monty Sears and Robin Jackson, both of Corbin. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held at House-Rawlings Funeral Home today, March 11, from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. funeral hour with Jason Toller officiating.
Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in Somerset.
