LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Kenneth Dean Ramsey Jr., 59, McKee Road, Somerset, Ky., and formerly of Laurel County, Ky.,  passed away Friday, March 8, 2013, at his residence.

Born June 11, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Kenneth Dean Ramsey Sr., and Verna Krystynek Carson, Homosassa Springs, Fla.

He was a carpenter and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a grandson, Kenneth Uriah Evans Ramsey.

He is survived by his mother; two children, Kara Baker and husband, Clayton, of Keavy, and Kenneth Dean Ramsey III, of Corbin; a brother, Robbie Ramsey, of London; two sisters, Mary Lou Allen, of London, and Terry Lynn Greer, of Lexington; stepmother, Phyllis Ramsey, of London; and two grandchildren, Kaylie Grimes and Addison Baker, both of Keavy.

Memorial services for Kenneth Dean Ramsey Jr. will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Level Green Church of Christ at Keavy.

There will be no visitation.

London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
