LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Lee Etta Case, 78, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of London, Ky., passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at her residence.
She leaves behind three children, Michael Case and wife Yvonne, Larry Case and wife Amy, and Sherry Rankin; three sisters, Ruthena Robinson, Bonnie Brown and Virginia Ann Proffitt; three brothers, Harold Wayne Smith, Marvin Smith and Lee Roy Smith; four grandchildren, Jeromy Case, Brooke Adams, Jonathan Case and Chris Newby; four great-grandchildren, Jaycee Elizabeth Case, Paige, Noah and Dakota Newby; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Case; parents, Critt Smith and Edna Jackson Smith; daughter-in-law, Veronica Case; two sisters, Freda Schreck and Barbara Sue Smith; and two brothers, Virgil Smith and Donald Ray Smith.
Funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Delmer Gross and Mike Seals officiating.
Burial followed at Warren’s Grove Cemetery, Laurel County.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the funeral home.
