LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
James Matthew Hall Sr., 83, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013.
Born Feb. 1, 1930 in Morgan County, Tenn., he was the son of the late John Matthew and Marie Henry Hall.
He was a retired mechanic and was affiliated with the Baptist Faith.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jacob Michael Hall.
He is survived by a son, James Matthew Hall Jr. and wife Marsha of Corbin; two daughters, Sylvia Lee Hall Hibbard and husband Wayne and Rebecca Belle Hall Riley and husband Terry, both of London; a brother, Robert Glenmore Hall of Bainbridge, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Sage Collin, Sidney Allen, Brandy Alexis and Bruce Evan Hall, Matthew and Austin Wayne Hibbard and Mariah Hazel Riley, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Dennis Engle and Delmer Gross officaiting.
Burial will follow in Potter Cemetery, Laurel County.
Pallbearers will be Sage, Sidney and Bruce Hall, and Austin and Matthew Hibbard.
