LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Carl C. Clark, 70, of Coal City, Ind., passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at I.U. Health, Bloomington, Ind.
Carl was born April 3, 1943 in London, Ky., to the late Earl and Maggie (Trosper) Clark. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Theater. He married Shirley (Kirkwood) Clark on June 26, 1993 in Indianapolis, Ind., and retired from Ford Motor Company in 1999. He loved gardening, traveling and was a member of the UAW Local No. 111.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of Coal City, Ind, sons, Tony (Brenda) Clark, Lloyd (Barb) Clark all of Kentucky, and Stephen Farber of Coal City; daughters, Karla (Bennie) Morgan of Kentucky, Laurie (Jeff) Kissee of Coal City and Cathy (Randy) Estep of Worthington, Ind.; brothers, Curtis (Carrolyn) Clark, Bradley Clark, Kenneth (Glynda) Clark, Marvin (Colleen) Clark and Eddie (Allisha) Clark; sisters, Madeline (Earl) Engle and Freda (Ervin) Taylor; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Earl Clark, Wayne Clark and Paul Clark.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, Ind. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
