Peggy Ramsey

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Peggy Ramsey, 79, of London, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Corbin Nursing Home in Corbin.

She was born on June 6, 1933 in Rockcastle County to the late Ella Harp and Brack King.  She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Earl H. Ramsey of London; daughters, Kathy (Jim) Jones and Krista (Don) Cox, both of London; sons, Kenny (Debbie) Ramsey of London and Keith (Lisa) Ramsey of Corbin; grandchildren, Jay (Allison) Jones, Dennis (Leann) Jones, Brad (Jessica) Harris, Brett Harris, Christopher Robinson, Tyler (Megan) Ramsey, all of London, and T.K. Ramsey of Corbin; great-grandchildren, Katie Jones and Allie Jones, both of Berea, Mallory Judd, Jorden Jones, Taitum Harris, Sammy Harris, and Kaydence Ramsey, all of London; and a special niece, Janie King Boyer of London.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at London Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Wells and Doug Sage officiating.

Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Mount Vernon.

Pallbearers were Jay Jones, Dennis Jones, Brad Harris, Chris Robinson and Tyler Ramsey.

Honorary pallbearers were T.K. Ramsey, Taitum Harris and Sam Harris.

Visitation was held at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
